It's official, we now have our new Fairways Landscape Committee! We met on
August 7 2000 and discussed everyone's thoughts, concerns, and desires pertaining to
the appearance of our our neighborhood. We welcome all suggestions, and if you would still like to be on the
committee you can contact Brenda Sharman. Access Management will be responsible for monitoring yards and enforcing our covenants regarding lawn maintnance. Each homeowner's responsibility includes: 1) Keeping their yard mowed and edged 2) Keeping bushes trimmed 3) Applying fertilizer and weed killer as needed 4) Maintaining the pruning of trees and hedges 5) Replacing sod where needed or install ground cover or mulch 6) Weeding flower beds, islands, and natural areas We are working on redesigning the main entrance landscaping this spring. Hooray! The committee would like to make up a resource guide with names and numbers of people who can be hired for lawn care. If you would like to add your name to the list, please let us know. Every month you will receive information and suggestions as to what to do in your yard at that specific time of year along with helpful gardening tips. The committee is made up of some experienced gardeners who are also willing to give their advice if asked. Thank-you in advance for all the extra effort everyone is going to put into their yards this fall, I'm certain that by next spring our home values will reap the benefits! Sincerely, The Fairways Landscape Committee
We have received a few names of persons in our neighborhood who provide lawn care services. We hope you find these referrals helpful. |
