Douglas Property Management will assume responsibility for the management of
your homeowners association. We ask that you take a minute to read the
important information below.
Your property manager is
Steve Collins; he will be your
communications link with the Board of Directors on most matters pertaining
to Association responsibilities. Our office is open from 9:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m., weekdays, and the telephone number is 770-926-3086. After
hours, and on weekends, please call the same number, and you will be given
the option of paging an after hours manager for emergencies. If your call
is of a routine nature, please leave a message, and someone will call you
the next business day.
Douglas Property Management was hired by your volunteer Board
of Directors to assist in the management of the day-to-day business of the
Association. Some of the tasks performed by the company include ordering
maintenance, monitoring your contractors (landscapers, etc.), performing
accounting and billing services, and fielding homeowner calls. You should
be aware that one of the manager’s duties includes inspecting your
neighborhood for Covenant violations. One of the major reasons for living
in a homeowners association is the existence of Covenants, which are
designed to ensure that homeowners maintain their property in a manner
consistent with neighborhood standards, thereby protecting property
values. Please be aware that these inspections will begin in the very near
future, and that letters will be sent to owners not in compliance with the
Covenants.
